Mr. Miskabi practices in the areas of real estate and business (commercial) transactions and litigation and personal injury litigation.
As a real estate investor, entrepreneur and licensed real estate agent, Mr. Miskabi understands his clients’ needs, concerns and goals and therefore more effectively and efficiently addresses them through either strategic negotiation or, if necessary, through aggressive litigation. Mr. Miskabi has obtained numerous favorable settlements for his clients in high stakes real property disputes and has participated in obtaining a defense judgment for a client on a $2.08 million claim. Among numerous transactional matters, Mr. Miskabi has negotiated and closed an 8 figure re-financing of a large medical building and represented a landlord in negotiating a ten-year, multi-million dollar lease agreement with a publicly traded international entertainment company.
Mr. Miskabi obtained his Bachelors of Arts, magna cum laude, in History and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
While in law school, Mr. Miskabi was an extern at the California Court of Appeal to Justice Ignazio J. Ruvolo and was an extern at the Los Angeles Superior Court to Judge Joseph S. Biderman. Prior to founding the Law Offices of Joseph Miskabi, Mr. Miskabi worked at a boutique Beverly Hills real estate and business firm.
Mr. Miskabi is a member of the State Bar of California, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
